Thank you for choosing CaraMel's Bakery for your special event. By submitting your payment, you agree to the following terms:

Order Changes

Changes to your order — such as cake size, description, or flavors — will be accepted until 4 weeks prior to the event date. After this lockout date, we will not accept any changes. By submitting your final payment, you agree that everything listed on your invoice is correct.

Delivery and Set-Up

Delivery is required on 3+ tier cakes. Delivery is $3 per mile from Clearwater, FL (33756). If you'd like to pick up your order instead, please make arrangements beforehand to set a pickup time, and please arrive on time.

Any special decorations provided by the client (such as flowers, toppers, etc.) can be dropped off at the given address before pickup, or provided at the delivery destination — this may vary depending on the item. Set-up is included for large delivery orders.

Payment and Cancellation

Client understands that upon entering this contract, the service provider is committing time and resources to this event, and cancellation would result in lost income and lost business opportunities in an amount difficult to precisely calculate. Therefore, the following limitations apply:

Your order becomes reserved only once the 50% deposit is received. The deposit reserves your date and is non-refundable.
All invoices must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the event date.
We are happy to accept partial payments toward the final contract price before the due date; however, the full balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to the event.
Orders cancelled prior to 4 weeks before the event can be refunded 50% of the invoice total. The 50% deposit will not be refunded.
Orders cancelled after 4 weeks before the event will not be refunded.
If you need to change your event date, please contact us as early as possible so we can make arrangements at no extra charge. If the change is requested less than 4 weeks before the event, a Change of Schedule Fee of 24% will apply. Emergencies such as hospitalization, death in the family, severe illness, or acts of God are excused from this fee.
Special stipulation: If an order is placed less than 4 weeks before the event date, full payment is due immediately, and the order will not be placed until payment is received.

Disclaimer

In the case of an emergency or a delivery error, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue right away.
We go to great lengths to ensure your order is exactly what you want, including tastings and image consultations prior to the event. However, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please call us the day of your event to explain the situation. In the rare case that a refund is requested, you must call the day of the event and return the cake to us — the returned cake serves as proof that it was not used for the event. By placing your order and submitting payment, you agree that certain creative changes may be made to the final design for reasons of stability, structural integrity, or other necessary adjustments.
Regarding leftovers: food should not be consumed more than 4 days from the date it was made. Depending on the type of cake, refrigeration may be required. Please refer to general food safety guidelines for more information. Cakes are typically made 2–3 days prior to the event.
We are not responsible for any damage to the cake once setup, delivery, or pickup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table/environment for the cake. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, ideally in a room at or below 75°F.
If flowers are provided by an outside source, you acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants. CaraMel's Bakery, its employees, and volunteers are not liable for any related damages or effects.
If you or your representative choose to pick up and set up the cake yourselves, you assume all liability and responsibility for the cake's condition once it leaves the possession of CaraMel's Bakery.
On occasion, we may photograph our cakes and reserve the right to use these photographs for display or promotional purposes without compensation to the client.
Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and to hold CaraMel's Bakery harmless for any allergic reactions.
Performance of this agreement is contingent on CaraMel's Bakery's ability to fulfill it, and is subject to labor disputes, strikes, accidents, acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
